How often should I use this ear wax removal service?

Microsuction is considered the safest, most comfortable, and quickest method for removing earwax. This easy procedure which our highly-trained specialists carry out, involves gently sucking the wax from the ear. To soften the wax beforehand, you can use a solution based in olive oil.
Depending on the outcome of the consultation, your pharmacist might recommend the supply* of a medication. This can be, for example, in the case that there is an ear infection.

Ear wax and skin can build up and cause hearing impairment. Our microsuction service can gently and safely remove any blockages, restoring your hearing.
Our trained staff will use the Tympa microsuction equipment to carefully remove any excess ear wax. Images of your ear canal are shared with Tympa who will assess the health of your ear drum and flag up if there are any issues that need to be addressed.
Whilst the NHS commissions pharmacies to provide a small number of clinical services, they do not currently fund ear wax removal. Pharmacy+Health are able to provide a wider range of services on a private basis, helping you get the treatment you need quickly.
Applying an olive-oil based solution to soften the wax in advance can help us to remove it successfully, if the wax is very dry and impacted.
