Frequently Asked Questions
Our Wellbeing blood tests help you check your general health, even if you do not have any health symptoms. Annual testing is a good starting point for general wellness, but more frequent checks can be carried out if you require. If you are monitoring specific conditions it can be really beneficial to measure these benchmarks, discuss them with your GP or private clinician and then test yourself each year to check for any changes.
While our team will explain the testing process and results, PLEASE NOTE we do not provide medical diagnosis or advice based on these blood test results. If needed, we can help guide you on how to seek additional care from your GP or a private clinician. These blood test results are useful for those wanting to monitor biomarkers that are an important indicator of general and sometimes specific health issues against expected average values. This can provide a deeper understanding of your health and prompt further investigations with your GP or a private clinician.
Results are typically available within 48 hours of your sample reaching the lab. You will be sent an email by us once received to inform you that your results are now available on our secure results portal, along with a link. You log into the results portal using the same email username and password you booked your test with on our website. The results show your biomarker levels and if each falls within the expected average range.
Our highly trained healthcare specialist will ask you some basic health and wellbeing questions, carry out the blood draw sample in the quantities needed for the specific diagnostic testing the laboratory are carrying out. We will then send the sample to the laboratory for analysis. You will be given clear instructions on the upcoming steps by tour team, including how to access your results. Please allow at least 48hrs for the sample to be delivered, the testing processes to be completed and the results to be returned to us.
Our Wellbeing Blood Tests are private services accessible by individuals and are not covered by the NHS or insurance policies. You will be charged for the test either in advance online or in-branch. Whilst the NHS commissions pharmacies to provide a small number of clinical services, we are able to provide a much wider range on a private basis. We believe this proactive approach to monitoring your health can be a very beneficial process for your overall wellness.
