I have practised as a community pharmacist for over 10 years and have found great fulfilment in supporting patients across the various branches I’ve worked in. The role of the community pharmacist has evolved significantly, shifting from a primarily dispensary-based position to a more patient-centred one that balances clinical services with traditional dispensing duties. This evolution has enabled us to better meet the growing health needs of our communities through both NHS and private services.Since the introduction of the hub, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. It has not only ensured that patients receive their medication promptly and safely, but has also freed up valuable time. This has allowed us to focus more on patient care: delivering services, offering clinical advice, and ultimately improving health outcomes.
